Enjoy a relaxing 20 minute scenic drive through native bush past Lake Tikitapu (The Blue Lake) & Lake Rotokakahi (The Green Lake) to arrive at your departure point at Lake Tarawera's Boat Shed Bay. Here international tourists once departed by Waka (Maori canoe) for the world famous Pink & White Terraces, which were obliterated in the 1886 eruption.

Famous for trophy-sized Trout, fresh air, shimmering crystal clear water and outstanding, untouched beauty with pristine native bush right to the water's edge.

All-weather Craft

Travel in comfort at 25 knots in an all-weather, purpose built boat seating 14 passengers and enjoy a headset commentary throughout the trip.

For the lakeshore walk we recommend suitable footwear. We will supply foot towels for those wishing to walk bare-foot.
