The Tauwhare Military Museum grew
from a private collection and has been established as a "Memorial of
Freedom" in honour of those men and women who fought to give us our freedom
of today. Also the many people that didn't go to the war zones, but remained
in the home countries working. |

Valued as an education and
recreational facility for the Waikato and only 15 minutes from Hamilton or
Cambridge it is well worth the visit. Group tours are welcome by
arrangement. |
