White Water Safari

Travel upstream past the historic Marae at Ohaki,
Through the sinking lands, with its natural lagoons teeming with waterfowl, and streams full of trout,
past the giant geothermal cooling tower on through the Full James Rapids.
10 Kilometers of white water takes you up to the turning point at the
Aratiatia Power Station and its
spectacular rapids.

The Taupo Trifecta.

This Adventure Combo, The Taupo Trifecta, involving Orakei Korako and Taupo Floatplane, takes in spectacular views of the Craters of the Moon, Huka Falls following the mighty Waikato River for a spectacular river landing at Mihi Approx. 15 minutes. Here you will board our big black jet boat while floating midstream to begin a 30 minute spectacular Jet boat ride along part of the Waikato River not accessible by any other means. On completion of the jet boat ride you will then arrive at the Hidden Valley of Orakei Korako. Here you will have the chance to Walk around this geothermal paradise. This takes approx. One hour before boarding your floatplane and returning to Lake Taupo approx. 15 minutes. Approximately, 3 hours of awesome adventure.
