Hug a Kauri

Many Bush walks, like those of the Puketi Forests Manginangina Boardwalk suitable for all ages, will lead you two some of New Zealand's finest Kauri Forests.
Tours take in these awesome attractions, along with the local knowledge of how the Kauri Gum and Timbers were harvested. Today Kauri is retrieved from the swamplands and used for all types of furniture and crafts offered in this area.
