| Unique Art Deco
|
Flattened by the "Napier Earthquake" in February 1931,
was rebuilt during the 1930's giving it an Art Deco style, unique for a New Zealand City.
This more modern form of architecture not normally found in Hawke's Bays older
settlements, claims to have the most concentrated collection of Art Deco in the world.

Experience Cape Kidnappers, you will awe at the large colony of Gannet
(Takapu) in their natural environment. As they gracefully glide through the air currents
